Joining and friends

How do my friends join? They go to Play, then Join game in the game, switch on Show dedicated server, and search your server's name. The Play with friends card on Overview has the name and password. Full guide

Do my friends need an IP address? No. They search the server's name. The address is only a fallback through Steam favorites. Full guide

How do I send everything in one message? Click Copy invite message on the Play with friends card. Full guide

Can players on a console join? Keen Games says Enshrouded is not cross-platform at launch. Full guide

How many players can join? The game allows 1 to 16. Your plan sets the top. Change the number with Edit slots. Full guide

Can I see who is online? Yes, on the Active players card on Overview. Full guide

Names and passwords

Where do I change the server name and password? Settings, Game Settings. Restart afterwards. Full guide

Why is my password refused when I save it? A password made only of digits is not accepted. Add a letter. Full guide

How do I become admin? Join with the Admin password, found on Settings, Gameplay Settings, under Admins. Full guide

Is there a command to kick or ban? Keen Games documents no server commands. An admin kicks and bans in the game. Full guide

Worlds and backups

How do I play my world from my PC? Upload your world file to the savegame folder as world0.ksd, with the server stopped. Full guide

What about a world from another host? Same idea: download world0.ksd from the old server and upload it. Full guide

Do my friends keep their characters? Yes. Characters are stored on each player's own computer, not on the server. Full guide

How do I start a new world? Run the Fresh World task. Back up first. Full guide

Can I keep an old world and play another? Yes, move world0.ksd out of savegame. Full guide

How do I go back after losing a base? Use Rewind to this on the Worlds page. The game keeps its last ten saves. Full guide

How do I back up? Backups, Start backup with Files. Full guide

Can I restore just the world? Yes, with Restore some files.... Full guide

How do I know my world loaded? Check the Console, the Worlds page and the game. Full guide

Settings

Where is the Hard difficulty? Settings, Gameplay Settings, Difficulty preset. Full guide
