How to undo the last rewind or upload on your Enshrouded server

Open the Worlds page and click Undo the last change on the card at the top. The panel puts back the world your server had before the last rewind or upload, the same way it made the change: stop, swap, start.

When you can undo

Every rewind and every upload keeps the world it replaces. The Worlds page then shows a card at the top, Your world from before the last rewind or upload is kept, with the time that world was saved.

Only the world from before the latest rewind or upload is kept. A second rewind or upload replaces it.

Undo it

1. Open your server in the panel and click Worlds in the left menu.
2. On the card at the top, click Undo the last change.
3. The window Undo the last rewind or upload? shows the time the kept world was saved and the steps. Click Undo rewind. The button has this name for an upload too.

4. A card, Undoing the last rewind or upload, follows the server as it stops, swaps the world and starts again. Players are disconnected for about a minute.
5. When the page says Done. Your world is back as it was before the last rewind or upload., join and check.

If the server was stopped, only the world is swapped and the server stays stopped.

Undo the undo

An undo is a change too: the world you just left is kept in its place, and the card at the top comes back with Undo the last change. Click it to go back again.

If the card is not there

• No rewind or upload was done on this server yet, so there is nothing to undo.
• The folder world-before-rewind in the server's main folder was moved or deleted in Files. The kept world lives there. Restore a backup instead: see How to back up and restore your Enshrouded world.
• You do not see the button: your role needs Restart. See How to let a friend help run your Enshrouded server.

Good to know

• A Fresh World does not remove the kept world, so after a fresh world the card can still be there. Clicking it puts that older world back in place of the new one.
• The kept world is in your backups too.
