How to change player slots on your Enshrouded server

Click Edit slots on the Active players card on your server's Overview page, type a number and click Update. This restarts your server.

Change the slots

1. Open your server in the panel. You land on Overview.
2. On the Active players card, click Edit slots. You can also click the pencil on the Slots row of the server card on the same page.

3. In the Edit Player Slots window, type a number or use the arrows. The window says how many players your plan allows.
4. Click Update.

The server restarts so that the game uses the new number. Warn your players first.

What the number can be

The game allows 1 to 16 players. Your plan sets the top of that range. You can go anywhere up to the limit and raise it again later. To go above the limit, upgrade your plan: see How to change your plan or billing cycle.

Why the Max Players row is read only

Max Players under Settings, Game Settings shows the same number but you cannot type in it. Use Edit slots instead.

Good to know

• Each player adds load on the server. If the server lags, a lower number can help. See Why is my Enshrouded server lagging.
