How to see who is online on your Enshrouded server

The Active players card on your server's Overview page lists who is playing right now, with how long each player has been connected. The number at the top shows players online and the slots you have, for example 2 / 16.

Read the card

1. Open your server in the panel. You land on Overview.
2. Find the Active players card.

3. Each row is a player's name and how long they have been connected.

How the panel knows

Enshrouded does not report its players to the usual game queries, so the panel reads your server's Console. The count comes from a status report the game prints about every 30 seconds. The names come from the Console lines where a player logs in and leaves. See How to use the Console on your Enshrouded server.

What the card can say

• Nobody is online: no one is connected.
• One player is playing. This server does not publish their names. or 2 players are playing. This server does not publish their names. The panel counted the players but did not see them log in. This happens when they joined a long time ago, before the panel's record of the Console begins.
• No answer from the server: the server is starting or stopped, or it restarted while the panel was not recording. The list comes back after the next restart.

The count can be up to about a minute behind the game, because the game prints its status report every 30 seconds.

Remove a player

The panel does not offer kick or ban buttons for Enshrouded, because Keen Games documents no server commands the panel could send. A player with the Admin password can kick and ban in the game. See How to become admin on your Enshrouded server and How to choose what your Enshrouded players can do.
