How to reserve slots on your Enshrouded server

Reserved slots keep places free for a group. Set them under Settings, Gameplay Settings, in Admins or in Players who join with the Server Password, and click Save & restart.

Set reserved slots

1. Open your server in the panel and click the Settings tab.
2. Under Config files, click Gameplay Settings.
3. For admins, scroll to Admins and set Reserved slots. For your players, scroll to Players who join with the Server Password and set Reserved slots.

4. Enter a number from 0 to 16. 0 reserves nothing.
5. Click Save & restart, or Save only to wait for the next restart.

How it works

When a group has reserved slots, the game shows the server as full to players in other groups once only those slots are left. People in the group can still join. That is how an admin can get in when your server is crowded.

For example, on a server with 8 slots and 1 reserved slot for Admins, players who join with the Server Password fill up to 7 places. The last place stays free for someone with the Admin password.

Good to know

• The reserved slots are part of your total slot count. See How to change player slots on your Enshrouded server.
