Why does my server stop right after Start? It has no BeamMP auth key yet. Keys are free at keymaster.beammp.com. Full guide

How do my friends join? In the BeamMP launcher, under Servers, they search your server's name, or use Direct connect with the address from Play with friends. Full guide
How do I invite friends? Copy invite message on the Play with friends card. Full guide
Can I set a join password? BeamMP has none. Use the whitelist, and make the server private if you also want it out of the list. Full guide

How do I change the server name? Settings, Game Settings, Server Name, then restart, or step 2 of Go live. Full guide
Can the name have colours? Yes, with ^ codes such as ^4 or ^l. Go live has a picker and a preview. Full guide
Why is my server not in the list? The BeamMP server list card on Overview says why. Full guide
How long until it is listed? BeamMP lists a new server within 1 to 3 minutes of its start. Full guide
Which tags should I use? Ones from BeamMP's list that fit, such as Freeroam, Drift or Lang:English. Full guide
Can I edit ServerConfig.toml? Change settings in the panel instead: it writes that file at every start. Full guide
Mods and maps
How do I add mods? Upload the .zip or paste a link on the Mods & maps tab, then Apply now, no restart. Full guide
Do players need to install the mods? No. BeamMP sends them when players join. Full guide
How do I use a modded map? Upload it, then Use as the server map in its menu, and restart. Full guide
Why does the first join take so long? Players download your whole mod pack. What players download shows the size and the time. Full guide
Can I add server plugins? Yes, with Upload plugin, and Nickel in one click. Full guide

How do I see who is online? Players in the left menu. Full guide
How do I kick or ban someone? ... on their row on the Players page, then Kick… or Ban…. Bans follow the BeamMP account. Full guide
How do I unban someone? The Bans tab, Unban. Full guide
Why can I not ban a guest? A guest has no BeamMP account. Turn guests off instead. Full guide
Can I block a car? Yes, on the Vehicles tab, and limit cars per player. Full guide
Can I talk to players from the panel? Yes: Say something as the server on the Chat tab, or Message… for one player. Full guide
Can a friend help me run the server? Yes, with a role on Team & Roles. Full guide

Is my server updated? Yes: with the default settings, every start installs the newest BeamMP build. Full guide

Can I switch this server to KissMP? No. The server card says This game has only one server type. KissMP is a separate product.
