How to choose tags for your BeamMP server

Pick your tags in step 3 of the Go live card on Overview, or type them into Server Tags in Settings, Game Settings, then restart. Players filter BeamMP's server list by tag, so tags that match your server bring the right players.

On the Go live card

1. Open your server in the panel. The Go live card is on Overview.
2. In step 3, Tags, click the tags that fit. A picked tag is highlighted; click it again to remove it. Search tags finds one by name.
3. Click the button at the bottom of the card to save and start or restart.

The tags come from BeamMP's own list, in groups:

At least one tag is needed. If the list gets too long the card says That is too many tags to save. Take a few off.

In Settings

1. Click the Settings tab and find Server Tags in Game Settings.
2. Type the tags separated by commas, for example Freeroam,Drift,Lang:English, and press Enter.
3. Click Restart now on the banner.

Tags can use letters, digits, spaces and the characters , : / + . _ -, up to 256 characters in all. A new server has Freeroam.

A tag that is not on BeamMP's list is kept, and the Go live card shows it under Saved on this server, not on BeamMP's list. Players filter by BeamMP's own list, so prefer tags from it.

Good to know

• Tags reach the list after a restart. The BeamMP server list card says Saved, not live yet while a change waits.
