Open Players in the left menu, click ... on the player's row and choose Kick… or Ban…. A ban follows the player's BeamMP account, so a new name does not get them back in. To ban someone who is not online, use Ban a BeamMP ID.
Kick a player
A kick removes the player now. They can join again at once.
- Open your server in the panel and click Players in the left menu.
- On the Players tab, click ... at the end of the player's row and choose Kick….
- Optionally type a Reason (they see it), for example
please keep chat friendly. - Click Kick. A message says
Kickedand the name.
If the player left in the meantime, the panel says That player is not on the server any more.
Ban a player who is online
- On the player's row, click ... and choose Ban….
- Under For how long, choose 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or Permanent. Permanent is chosen at first.
- Type a Reason (they see it when they try to join), for example
griefing. - If the box Also ban their IP address is there, tick it to keep them out on a new account from the same connection. It can also block someone else who shares that connection.
- Click Ban. The player is removed now, and the panel says
Bannedand the name.

Ban… is only on rows with a BeamMP ID. A guest has no BeamMP account, so a guest can be kicked but not banned. To keep guests out, turn them off: How to stop guests joining your BeamMP server.
Ban a BeamMP ID that is not online
- Click Ban a BeamMP ID at the top of the Players tab, or on the Bans tab.
- Type the BeamMP ID: digits only, 1 to 20 of them. It shows next to every signed-in player's name on the Players tab, with a copy button.
- Choose the length and a reason, and click Ban.
The server does not have to be running. A ban saved while it is stopped applies from the next start: the panel says Applies at the next start.
Remove a player's cars
Remove vehicles… in the row menu deletes every car the player has spawned. They stay on the server and can spawn again. It only shows for a player who has cars.
Good to know
- Banned players see the reason when they try to join. The sentence before it can be changed on the Access tab, under What a refused player reads. Leave it empty for the standard sentence,
You are banned from this server. - The Bans tab lists every ban with who banned and when, and lifts them: How to unban a player on your BeamMP server.
- Kicks and bans are written to Activity, with your name: How to see what happened on your server.
- Kick needs Use the console. Ban also needs the files permissions Read contents and Create and upload, because bans are kept in a file on your server: How to let a friend help run your BeamMP server.
- Kick and ban need the PlayNHost tools on. If PlayNHost Tools is off, bans are saved but nothing enforces them until it is on and the server restarts.
- You can also kick from the Console with BeamMP's own
kickcommand: How to use the Console and commands on your BeamMP server.
