The Enshrouded players card shows no names or No answer from the server

The Active players card reads your Enshrouded server's Console, because the game does not report its players any other way. No answer from the server means the panel has no recent status report from the game. Names go missing when the panel did not see those players log in. A restart, or the players rejoining, fixes both.

No answer from the server

The card says No answer from the server and "The panel reads who is on from the server console and cannot tell right now: the server is starting or stopped, or it restarted while the panel was not recording. The list comes back after the next restart."

1. Check the badge at the top. While the server is Offline or starting, this message is normal. Wait until it says Online and the Console shows [Session] 'HostOnline' (up)!.
2. Wait a minute. The game prints its status report about every 30 seconds, and the card needs one.
3. If the server is Online and the message stays for more than a few minutes, restart the server at a quiet moment.

Players counted but not named

The card says One player is playing. This server does not publish their names., or 2 players are playing. This server does not publish their names., or ends a list of names with and 1 more not named by the server.

The count is right: it comes from the game's status report. The panel names a player from the Console line written when they log in. If it did not see that line, for example because it was not recording at that moment, it can count the player but not name them.

• Ask the player to leave and join again: they are named from the new login line.
• Or restart the server: everyone is named as they join.

The count looks wrong

• The count can be up to about a minute behind the game.
• If the count stays at 0 with people playing, open the Console and check that the Session block appears about every 30 seconds. If it does not, open a ticket with the last lines.
