Open your server's Overview page and look at the Active players card. It lists everyone who is online, with how long they have been connected, and shows how many slots are in use.
Read the card
- Open your server in the panel. You land on Overview.
- Find the Active players card.

- The number next to the title, for example
3 / 50, is the players online and the slots your server has. - Each row shows the player's name and how long they have been connected: just now,
5m,1h 5mor1d 2h. On a wide screen it also shows their ping in milliseconds. - The list refreshes by itself about every 20 seconds, and when you come back to the page.
- With more than five or six players the list scrolls inside the card.
- The ... menu at the end of a row has Copy name, Kick and Ban, if you have the console permission: How to kick, ban and add admins on your Rust server.
What the card says when nobody is on
- Nobody is online with the line
Players who join will appear here, with how long they have been connected. The server is running and empty. - No answer from the server with the line
It is not answering on its RCON port. That is normal while it is starting or stopped.See The Rust players card says No answer from the server.
Buttons on the card
- Bans and Admins, if you have the console and file permissions: How to kick, ban and add admins on your Rust server.
- Edit slots: How to change player slots on your Rust server.
See where they are on the map
Open Live map in the left menu to see every player on a picture of your map, with the way they face, updated every 5 seconds. Its Players list shows the same names with how long each one has been on and their ping: How to use the live map on your Rust server.
Find a player's SteamID64
The card shows names, not SteamIDs. To see the ID of everyone who is online, type users in the Console tab. Or open Admins: the Online now list adds a player with one click, without typing the ID.
Good to know
- The panel reads the list from the game over its remote console. Everyone on the list is really connected, and a player who just joined can take a moment to appear.
- The same list is what Admins uses for Online now.
