- Find your Steam64 ID (the long number that identifies your Steam account, for example through the steamid.io lookup site).
- Stop the server from the panel.
- In Files, open SCUM, Saved, Config, WindowsServer. If AdminUsers.ini is not there, create it. Add your Steam64 ID on its own line, one ID per line. A plain ID gives the standard admin command set; extra permissions go in square brackets after the ID, for example [SetGodMode] or [ShutdownServer], separated by commas.
- To also see the Server Settings menu in game, add your Steam64 ID in the same way to ServerSettingsAdminUsers.ini in the same folder (create it if missing). Edits made in that menu may not be kept, so for lasting changes use ServerSettings.ini in Files.
- Save, start the server, join, then open chat and type # to see the available commands. The game suggests command names as you type.
Useful admin commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
#ListPlayers | Lists the players currently on the server. |
#Kick <Player> | Removes a player from the server. |
#Ban <SteamID64> | Bans a player by Steam64 ID. |
#SpawnItem <ID> <Count> | Spawns an item. |
#Teleport <X> <Y> <Z> [Player] | Teleports you or a player to coordinates. |
Admin commands are typed in the in-game chat box, starting with #. The Server Settings menu is opened in game with the Escape key. See How to use the console and run commands.
