Players cannot join your Enshrouded server with the password

Check the Password row on the Play with friends card on your Overview page and restart the server if you changed the password. The password must match exactly, capitals included.

Check the password

1. Open your server in the panel. On Overview, find Play with friends.
2. Read the Password row. If it says Hidden for your account, your role cannot read it: ask the owner. If it says None set, there is no Server Password and players can join without one.
3. Compare it with what your players type. A capital letter, a space or an extra character makes it wrong.

After you changed the password

A new password reaches the game when the server next starts. Restart the server, then try again. Players who are already in the game stay connected until the restart. See How to change your Enshrouded server name and password.

If the panel will not save the password

The Server Password cannot be only digits. Add a letter. This is because a password made only of numbers is written into the server's file as a number, which the game does not accept as a password.

Server Password and Admin password

There are two passwords:

• The Server Password is for your players.
• The Admin password is for admins, and it is on Settings, Gameplay Settings, under Admins.

Players cannot find the server at all
