The Worlds page is where you manage the world your Enshrouded server plays. It shows when the world was last saved, the game's own earlier copies of it, and buttons to rewind, undo, upload a world and download yours. Open it with Worlds in the left menu, right under Overview.

What is on the page

- Your world: the world the server plays now, with Last saved, Saved at and Size. The badge says Saving as you play while the server runs, Server starting or Server stopping in between, and Server offline while it is stopped. Under it are Download and Upload a world.
- Earlier copies: the last ten versions the game keeps as it saves, about the last hour of play, newest first. The counter shows how many there are, for example
9/10. Each has its clock time, how long ago that was, its size, and Rewind to this. The newest is marked Newest. - What a rewind does: the four steps the panel takes when you rewind.
- A card at the top, Your world from before the last rewind or upload is kept, after you rewound or uploaded. It has Undo the last change.
A new server shows There is no world yet. Start the server and the game creates one. until the game saves for the first time, and No earlier copies yet until players have played for a while.

While a change runs
A rewind, an undo or an upload shows a progress card at the top of the page with its steps: Stopping and saving your world, Putting the copy in place (or Putting your world in place for an upload), and Starting the server. Players are disconnected for about a minute. You can leave the page. The other buttons stay greyed out until it is done, and only one change runs at a time.
If the server was stopped, only the files are swapped and it stays stopped. If the server has not come back after about four minutes, the card says This is taking longer than usual: open the Console to see why. Stop following only hides the card.
Who can use it
- Anyone on your team who can browse files sees the page.
- Rewind to this and Undo the last change need Restart.
- Upload a world needs Restart and Create and upload.
- Download needs Read contents.
See How to let a friend help run your Enshrouded server. Every rewind and upload is written to the Activity log.
Good to know
- Characters are kept on each player's own computer, so nothing on this page changes them.
- The earlier copies cover a short time. For older points, use your backups: see How to back up and restore your Enshrouded world.
- To start over with a new world, use the Fresh World task: see How to start a fresh Enshrouded world.
