Conan Exiles uses a lot of memory. An empty fresh world on a 16 GB plan settles at about 9.5 GB, and bases, mods and players add to that, so leave clear headroom above it. If the server stops by itself after it has finished loading, it has run out of memory and needs a bigger plan.
Check your own usage
Open your server's Overview page and look at Usage, then the RAM tab, while players are online. An empty server tells you little, so read it with players on. See How to read your server's usage graphs.
Tips for a healthier server
- Keep Update On Start on so the server runs the current build.
- Stop the server before editing files or restoring a backup, and give stops a few minutes since the server saves before it exits.
- Remove mods you do not use: each one is downloaded at every start and adds to load time and memory.
Change plan
If memory keeps reaching your plan's limit while players are on, move to a bigger plan. See How to change your plan or billing cycle.
