Mods and custom scenarios from the official Arma Reforger Workshop. The server downloads them itself and sends them to players as they join, so nobody installs anything first.
Back up first. See How to back up and restore your Arma Reforger world.
Add a mod
- Find the mod on the Arma Reforger Workshop and copy its 16 character mod ID from the mod's page.
- Open Settings, then Game Settings and add the ID to Workshop mods. Separate several IDs with commas.
- To hold a mod at one release, add a colon and the version after the ID, for example 591AF5BDA9F7CE8B:1.2.0. Without a version the latest release is used.
- If the mod is a scenario, set Scenario ID to the scenario that mod provides.
- Restart the server. Mods download during start, so the first boot with new mods takes longer.
- To remove a mod, delete its ID from Workshop mods and restart. If the mod added vehicles, items or maps that already exist in your save, back up first, because that saved content can be lost or fail to load.
Where files go
Open Files and use these places:
- profile, then addons (inside Files): where the server stores downloaded mods
Players need the same mods
Everyone who joins needs the same mods and versions as the server.
Check it worked
Once the server has restarted, read the Console. A mod that loaded shows up during startup, and problems show under Errors and Warnings. See How to use the console and run commands and How to add mods, plugins and modpacks.
If the server stops after you add a mod, remove the newest mod or restore your backup. See How to fix a server that will not start.
