Your players join your Arma Reforger server with its Server Address, shown on the server's Overview page in the panel. Arma Reforger is Bohemia Interactive's military sandbox shooter (Conflict, Game Master and other scenarios), and a hosted server gives your group a dedicated, always-on place to play it.
Join in a few steps
- Open your server in the panel. If the status badge says Offline, click Start and wait until it says Online. See How to start, stop, restart and force-stop your server.
- On the Overview page, click the copy icon next to Server Address. It looks like
address:port.
- Launch Arma Reforger on your PC.
- From the main menu, open Multiplayer.
- Choose the direct connect option and enter the Server Address from your server's Overview page, with the address and the port exactly as shown.
- If you set a Server Password, enter it when asked, then join.
- You can also look for the server by name in the server browser, but only if Visible in Server Browser is on. Direct connect works either way.
- If the server has BattlEye on, make sure BattlEye is enabled on your game too, or you will be refused.
Ports
Players connect with the single address and port shown as the Server Address on the Overview page. The separate Steam Query Port shown in Game Settings is only used by server browsers and listings, and players do not type it anywhere.
Game version
Players need the same game version as the server. The server runs the regular (stable) release, not the experimental branch, and checks Steam for an update every time it starts while Automatic Updates is on. After a new game patch, restart the server so it catches up with players.
If you cannot join
- The server must be Online. Check the badge at the top of the page.
- Copy the address again from the panel. A missing or mistyped port is the most common cause.
- Make sure every player runs a compatible game version and the same mods.
