- Find your 64-bit Steam ID (steamID64), a 17-digit number, for example with the lookup at steamid.net.
- Stop the server, then in Files open Insurgency, then Config, then Server. Create these folders if they are missing.
- Create a plain text file named Admins.txt there and put one steamID64 per line.
- Start the server again (or change level) so the list is reloaded.
- Join the server and open the in-game admin menu to use the commands below. If you cannot find a way to type commands, open a support ticket with your steamID64.
Useful admin commands

kick player [reason] | Removes a player from the server. For player, use the player's ID, net ID or name from listplayers. |
ban player [duration] [reason] | Bans a player, for the duration you give. For player, use the player's ID, net ID or name from listplayers. |
permban player [reason] | Bans a player permanently. For player, use the player's ID, net ID or name from listplayers. |
unban netid | Lifts a ban. |
listbans | Shows the ban list. |
say message | Shows a message to all players in the chat box. |
restartround | Restarts the current round. |
scenarios [level filter] | Lists the scenarios available on the server. |
travelscenario scenario | Changes level to the scenario you name. |
Admin commands are entered in the game by an admin, in the in-game admin menu. They are not typed in the panel Console tab. If you cannot find a way to type commands, contact support. See How to use the console and run commands.
