How to upload your own Arma Reforger world

You can bring an Arma Reforger world you already have, from your own computer or another host, to your PlayNHost server.

Uploading a campaign replaces the one on the server now. Download a backup of the current game folder first and stop the server. Keep your own original files until the server loads the new campaign.

Upload and load your world

1. Stop the server from the panel.
2. Download a backup of the current game folder first. The next steps remove the current campaign.
3. Open Files, then profile, then profile, then .save, then game.
4. Remove or rename the scenario folder for the scenario you are replacing, so the old and new saves are not mixed. Removing it deletes that campaign's progress, apart from your backup.
5. Upload your saved scenario folder into the game folder.
6. The save only matches the scenario it was made on, so set Scenario ID to the same scenario, and add the same Workshop mods the save used.
7. The server loads the latest save point it finds for the scenario on start, so make sure no older save folders for that scenario are left in the game folder (removing them deletes their progress).
8. Start the server and watch the Console to confirm the save was loaded. If it starts a fresh campaign instead, open a support ticket.

Start a fresh world

Starting fresh can permanently remove the current world. Back it up first.

1. Download a backup of the game folder inside .save (Files, then profile, then profile, then .save, then game).
2. Stop the server so nothing is written during the wipe.
3. Open Files, then profile, then profile, then .save, then game, and delete the scenario folder or folders inside it. Everything players built, captured or collected is lost, apart from your backup.
4. Your server settings, passwords and mod list are kept.
5. Start the server. It begins a fresh playthrough.
6. If the Schedules page of your server offers a ready-made Campaign reset schedule, it does the same stop, wipe and start for you. It is switched off by default and deletes the campaign every time it runs, so leave it off unless you want regular resets.
