- Open Settings, then Game Settings and set an Admin Password (no spaces, no quote marks). Restart the server.
- Join the server in game.
- Open the chat box (C in the lobby, Return while playing) and type #login followed by a space and your admin password.
- You now have admin rights. Type #logout to give them up.
Useful admin commands

#players | Lists the players on the server with their player IDs. |
#id | Shows your own player ID. |
#kick playerId | Removes a player from the server; they can rejoin. Use the player ID from #players. |
#ban create playerId seconds reason | Bans a player for the given number of seconds; 0 bans them forever. The reason is optional. Use the player ID from #players. |
#ban remove identityId | Lifts a ban so the player can rejoin. Use the identity ID shown by #ban list. |
#ban list | Lists current bans, 10 per page in game (add a page number for more). |
#restart | Restarts the running scenario while keeping players connected. |
#shutdown | Shuts the server down and disconnects everyone. |
Admin commands are typed in the in-game chat (press C in the lobby or Return while playing), not in the panel Console tab. #login is only needed once per session. See How to use the console and run commands.
