Open Gameplay in the left menu. In Growth and time, change Growth multiplier to make dinosaurs grow faster or slower, and Day length (minutes) and Night length (minutes) for the day cycle. Click Save changes.
Change them
- Open your server in the panel and click Gameplay in the left menu.
- In the Growth and time group, change the values you want.
- Click Save changes at the bottom right. Discard throws away the changes you have not saved.

The panel says which settings it applied to the running server now and which apply at the next restart.
The settings
| Setting | What it does | Range | Default | When |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Growth multiplier | How fast dinosaurs grow up. 1 is the game's normal speed; most communities stay under 20. | 0.1 to 100 | 1 | Live |
| Day length (minutes) | How long the day lasts, in real minutes. | 1 to 600 | 45 | Next start |
| Night length (minutes) | How long the night lasts, in real minutes. | 1 to 600 | 20 | Next start |
| Corpse decay speed | How fast bodies rot away. Higher is faster. | 0.1 to 10 | 1 | Next start |
Live means a running server takes the new value straight away. The others apply the next time the server starts, so restart it after saving.
Good to know
- A value outside the range is refused with That is outside what the game accepts.
- A faster growth multiplier is popular on small community servers, so new players catch up sooner.
- Live changes need permission to use the console. Without it, your value is saved for the next start.
