- Find your SteamID64, the long numeric Steam ID (a lookup site such as steamid.io will convert your profile).
- Stop the server, then open Files, then SquadGame, then ServerConfig and edit the file Admins.cfg. If it is missing, create it.
- Define a group on its own line in the form Group=GroupName:permission1,permission2. As an example admin group you could use Group=SuperAdmin:changemap, cheat, private, balance, chat, kick, ban, config, cameraman, debug, pause, forceteamchange, reserve.
- Add yourself on a new line in the form Admin=YOUR_STEAMID64:GroupName, with your own number and the name of the group you just defined.
- For reserved slots, make a group with only the reserve permission, for example Group=Whitelist:reserve, and add each player to it the same way.
- Save the file and start the server. Join, open the console and run a command such as AdminBroadcast hello to confirm it works.
