Your players join your Soulmask server with its Server Address, shown on the server's Overview page in the panel. Soulmask is an open-world tribal survival game where you recruit and command followers, and a hosted dedicated server keeps one shared world running around the clock for up to 70 players, depending on your plan.
Join in a few steps
- Open your server in the panel. If the status badge says Offline, click Start and wait until it says Online. See How to start, stop, restart and force-stop your server.
- On the Overview page, click the copy icon next to Server Address. It looks like
address:port.

- Launch Soulmask from Steam.
- Open the multiplayer server browser and look for the name you set as Server Name, or use the game's option to connect to a server directly and enter the Server Address from the Overview page.
- If you set a Server Password, enter it when the game asks for it.
- Create your character when prompted and you spawn into the shared world.
Ports
Players use the port in the Server Address shown on the Overview page. The other ports the server uses are handled for you and players do not need them.
Game version
Your game and the server should be on the same version. With Auto Update on (the default) the server checks Steam for a new game build every time it starts, so restart the server after a Soulmask patch. Turn Auto Update off only if you must stay on one build for mod compatibility.
If you cannot join
- The server must be Online. Check the badge at the top of the page.
- Copy the address again from the panel. A missing or mistyped port is the most common cause.
- Make sure every player runs a compatible game version and the same mods.
- Check the password, if you set one. See How to set up your Soulmask server.
