Quick Tasks, in the left menu, is where you run a task now, pin it to the Overview, or put it on a timer. For Palworld it has three tasks of its own, Save World, Announce to Players and World Reset, and three ready-made schedules: Daily restart (already on your server), Restart every 6 hours and World reset.

What is on the Quick Tasks page?
- Pinned tasks: "These appear as Quick tasks on the server overview."
- All tasks: every task, with a Search box and the filters Your tasks and Default tasks.
- Schedules: the schedules on your server, with Ready-made for Palworld above them.
Which tasks does a Palworld server have?
| Task | What it does |
|---|---|
| Save World | "Writes the world to disk now, without waiting for the next autosave." It sends save. |
| Announce to Players | "Shows a message to everyone on the server." It sends broadcast with your Message, up to 200 characters. |
| World Reset | "Deletes the world save so the next start begins a fresh world. Your settings in PalWorldSettings.ini are kept." It stops the server, deletes every world and starts again. |
| Send Command | Sends text to the Console, for example info. |
| Send Restart, Send Stop, Send Start | Restarts, stops or starts the server. Stop and restart save the world first. |
| Backup Server | Takes a backup now. |
Run, pin or schedule a task
- Run runs it now. A task that needs a value, such as Announce to Players or Send Command, opens Configure task first. Save task there keeps your version, shown under the Your tasks filter: it does not run it. Switch to Your tasks and click Run there to send it. Run under Default tasks always runs a task as it ships, so a task that needs a value asks for it again.
- World Reset opens Run World Reset? first, with Back up the server first: How to reset your Palworld world and start fresh.
- Pin to overview adds a task to the Quick tasks card on the Overview.
- Schedule…, in the task's menu, puts it on a timer: the window Schedule task asks for Arguments, then the time (Once or Repeats). On World Reset, it adds the ready-made reset (stop, wipe, start) with the name, time and switch you chose, and the wipe deletes only once the server is Offline.
The ready-made schedules
| Schedule | What it does | On a new server |
|---|---|---|
| Daily restart | Early every morning, while the server is running: warns players 10, 5 and 1 minutes before, saves, restarts and installs updates | On, already in your schedules |
| Restart every 6 hours | Every 6 hours from midnight, while running: warns players 5 and 1 minutes before, saves, restarts | Add it, arrives off |
| World reset | The 1st of every month at 04:00: stops, waits for Offline, deletes every world, starts a fresh one | Add it, arrives off |
One that is already on your server says On this server. Details of the restarts: How to restart your Palworld server with warnings.
Manage a schedule
Each schedule has a switch to turn it on or off, and a menu with Edit schedule…, Run now and Delete schedule. Click a schedule to open it: you see its steps, Add step, when it last ran, and Skip while players are online.
The first step says Runs first. Every later step has a chip with the real wait after the step before it, for example 300s after previous on the second step of the Daily restart. The Daily restart shows 300s after previous, 240s after previous and 60s after previous.
The page cannot change the time of a schedule that exists. For another time, make a new schedule and switch the old one off. The time of the nightly Automatic backup can be changed on the Backups page, with Edit under Scheduled backups.
