Most problems with a HumanitZ server come down to a few causes. Start with the one that matches what you see.
The server does not show up in the server browser
Why: A freshly started server needs a few minutes to be listed, and a Server Name containing the word Official can stop the server from starting or being listed.
Fix: Wait a few minutes and search again. If your game offers a way to connect by address, use the Server Address. Remove the word Official from Server Name if it is there, then restart.
The server stops or restarts when players join, or is slow
Why: If your server is on a 4 GB plan, it already uses about 3.9 GB with nobody online, so there is almost no room left when players join.
Fix: Check Usage on the Overview page with players online. If the server stops when players join, move to a plan with more memory.
Admin commands do nothing
Why: Admin Password is empty, or you have not yet sent /AdminAccess with it in game chat.
Fix: Set an Admin Password in Settings, then Game Settings, restart, join the game and type /AdminAccess followed by the password in chat.
My world looks reset after a settings change
Why: Changing Save Name makes the server use a different save. The old world is still there under the old name.
Fix: Set Save Name back to the previous name and restart.
Nobody can join after turning on Only Allowed Players
Why: Only players on the server's allowed list may join once it is on.
Fix: Turn Only Allowed Players off again in Settings, then Game Settings, and restart. If you want a restricted server, ask support to set up the allowed list.
A setting I edited by hand in the settings file went back to its old value
Why: The panel writes its own values into the settings file every time the server starts.
Fix: Change the value in Settings, then Game Settings instead and restart.
Players are asked for a password they do not know
Why: Server Password is set.
Fix: Share the password with them, or clear Server Password in Settings, then Game Settings and restart for a public server.
