Valheim players are refused because the allow list is on

As soon as the allow list has one player on it, everyone who is not on it is refused, even with the right password, and anyone online who is not on it is removed within seconds. Open Access on the Active players card, click Allowed, and add the players who should get in, or remove every entry to open the server again.

How to tell

• Under the Active players card: The allow list is on: only the players on it can join. Change it under Access.
• In Access, the Allowed tab has a number above 0 and says The server is closed to everyone except the players below.
• In the Console: Player ... is blacklisted or not in whitelist. The same line shows for banned players, so check Banned too.

Let a friend in

1. Open your server in the panel. On Overview, click Access on the Active players card.
2. Click the Allowed tab.
3. Type your friend's ID in Add by player ID and click Allow. Or, if they are online and not allowed yet, they are listed with a button.

Open the server to everyone again

Remove every entry on Allowed with Remove. The panel says Saved. The allow list is empty again, so anyone with the password can join.

Locked yourself out?

The Access window works while you are not in the game, and even while the server is stopped. Add your own ID, or empty the list.
