How to become admin on your Space Engineers server

1. Get your SteamID64 (the long 64-bit Steam ID number) from a Steam ID lookup site.
2. Stop the server, then open SpaceEngineers-Dedicated.cfg in the config folder in Files and keep a copy of it before editing.
3. In the Administrators section, add one line per admin in this form, with your own SteamID64 in the middle: <unsignedLong>76561198000000000</unsignedLong>. If the file already has an Administrators section with entries, add your line inside it. If the section is empty (written as <Administrators />), replace that with <Administrators><unsignedLong>76561198000000000</unsignedLong></Administrators>. If there is no Administrators section at all, add that same text inside the main configuration element, using your own SteamID64.
4. Save the file and start the server. Changes to the admin list need a restart.
5. Join the server and press the key combination Alt+F10 to open the Admin Screen. Its tabs include Admin Tools, Cycle objects, Trash removal, Entity List, Safe Zones, Global Permissions, Weather and Spectator Tool.
