Check that Public server list is ipv4 on Game Settings, that the Console shows successfully registered after the start, and that you search for the Server name players see, not the panel's own name for the server. A new server needs a minute or so to appear.
1. Public server list
- Open your server in the panel, click the Settings tab, then Game Settings.
- Public server list must be
ipv4. With0the server stays off the list on purpose. - If you change it, restart the server.

2. The register lines
Open the Console after a start and look for:
register/6/ipv4: successfully registered
and the same line for register/7. When they are there, DDNet's server list has your server. The client shows it on the Internet tab within a minute or so. Refresh the list in the client.
If the lines do not come, restart the server once. If they still do not come, ask support with the last lines of the Console.
3. The name you search for
The browser shows Server name from Game Settings. The name at the top of the panel page is only for you. Search for part of the Server name, and check the filters in the client: a filter such as hiding servers with a password or hiding full servers can hide yours.
4. A password
A server with a Server password is listed, with a lock. If the client hides locked servers, it hides yours.
Join while it is not listed
Players can always join by address: F1 in the client, then connect and the address from the Play with friends card. See How to join your DDNet server.
