How to become admin on your Astroneer server

1. Under Settings, then Game Settings, fill in Owner Steam Name with your Astroneer profile name, spelled exactly as it appears in game.
2. Fill in Owner Steam ID 64 with your own 17-digit SteamID64 (it starts with 7656119). Both values are required, so fill in both before you start the server.
3. Restart the server so the values are written, then join with that same Steam account.
4. Press Esc in game and open the server admin menu (the icon with a crown) to manage the session and use the whitelist.
5. A password set in the in-game admin menu is replaced by the Server Password setting each time the server restarts. To change the password for good, change it under Settings, then Game Settings.
6. To hand ownership to someone else, change both fields to that person's name and SteamID64 and restart. Only one owner can be set this way.
