Open your server's Overview page. The Active players card lists everyone on the server, with how long they have been connected, and the count against your slots, for example 3 / 8. You can also type playing in the Console.

The Active players card

  1. Open your server in the panel. You land on Overview.
  2. Find the Active players card.
The Active players card with one player online
  • Each row shows the player's name and how long they have been on, such as 12m or 1h 5m.
  • Nobody is online with Players who join will appear here, with how long they have been connected. means the server is empty.
  • The card checks again every 20 seconds.
  • The ... menu on a row has Copy name, Kick and Ban: How to kick or ban a player on your Terraria server.

How the panel knows

Terraria has no query port for player lists, so the panel reads the server's own console: the has joined. and has left. lines since the last start. That is why the list is unknown until the server has fully started, and after a restart the panel did not see. The card then says No answer from the server: The Terraria players card says No answer from the server.

On tModLoader the panel reads English console lines only. With Language set to another language, the card does not show.

With the Console

Type playing in the Console tab. Terraria Vanilla and tModLoader answer with each player's name and address, then 1 player connected. or No players connected. On TShock, playing (or who) lists the players too.
