Is V Rising multiplayer?
Yes. You can play with or against others in both PvE and PvP modes. Our servers support flexible player limits.
Can I host my own V Rising server?
Yes. V Rising servers are set up instantly, with a panel settings editor for name, password, presets and save options, plus full SFTP file access.
What can I customize?
In Settings: the game and difficulty presets, the server name, description and password, the save name, count and interval, server FPS, admin slots, listing on Steam and Epic, and RCON. PvP rules, castle decay and loot rates are in ServerGameSettings.json, which you edit in Files or over SFTP.
Does V Rising support mods?
Yes, on the modded server type. Mods use the BepInEx loader, which the standard V Rising type does not carry. Open Edit Server Type on the Overview and pick V Rising BepInEx, then put mods in BepInEx/plugins. Changing the type reinstalls the server, so take a backup first, and a world started on the modded type may not open on the standard one.
