PLAY WRECKFEST MULTIPLAYER

Wreckfest is Bugbear's demolition derby themed racing game with soft-body damage, on Steam since 2018. Run racing, derby, team derby or elimination race events, and prepopulate the grid with 0 to 24 AI bots. Players join on PC with their own copy; we cannot confirm console crossplay, so plan for PC drivers.

WORKSHOP MODS AND EVENT LOOPS

Paste Workshop item ids into the Modding card, and each start downloads them into mods/ and writes the mods= line; remove an id and its folder goes. Players must subscribe to the same mods. Tracks, laps, vehicle damage from normal to extreme and AI difficulty are lines in server_config.cfg, edited in Files.

What is a Wreckfest Dedicated Server?
It is the game's own server program running on our hardware, so nobody in your group has to host races from their PC. Your event loop, damage level and rules live in server_config.cfg and stay as you left them between sessions, because a reinstall never overwrites an existing config file.
How do I host a Wreckfest server with PlayNHost?
Choose a plan and region, then open the panel. Set Server Name and Server Password in Settings, paste Workshop ids into the Modding card if you want mods, and start the server. Track rotation, game mode and damage are lines in server_config.cfg, which you edit in Files; there is no world to set up.
Can I use Workshop mods or custom settings?
