Your uploaded Icarus prospect does not load

An uploaded prospect loads only from Icarus/Saved/PlayerData/DedicatedServer/Prospects/, unchanged and under its original file name. Check the folder first, then the file, then the name you load it by.

1. The folder is exactly right

In Files, the file must sit in Icarus/Saved/PlayerData/DedicatedServer/Prospects/. Common mistakes:

• A folder with your Steam ID in place of DedicatedServer. That is the layout on your PC, not on a server.
• The file one folder too deep, for example inside an extra Prospects folder.
• A folder name spelled differently.

Move the file with Move file in its menu, or upload it again into the right folder.

2. The file was not changed

RocketWerkz warns that renaming a prospect file or editing its contents corrupts the save for good. If you renamed or edited it, upload the original file again, unchanged.

3. You load it by the right name

The prospect's name is its file name without .json. In the lobby, type LoadProspect and that name in the game chat, or pick it in the game's menus. See How to start, load and resume prospects on your Icarus server.

4. The server was stopped while you uploaded

Upload with the server stopped, then start it. If a prospect with the same name was running, it may have saved over your file. Upload it again with the server stopped.
