Admin commands do not work on your Icarus server

Icarus admin commands work only in the game chat, after /AdminLogin with the server's Admin Password, and with a / or \ in front while you are in a prospect. Check these in order.

1. You typed it in the game chat

The panel's Console and Send Command on Quick Tasks do not reach the game. Open the chat in Icarus and type the command there.

2. You logged in as admin

Type /AdminLogin followed by a space and the Admin Password, then the command. If it is still refused, log in again and retry. See How to become admin on your Icarus server.

3. The Admin Password is applied

A new Admin Password is used from the next start. Restart the server after you set or change it, then log in again.

4. The slash is there

Inside a prospect, every command needs / or \ in front, for example /KickPlayer. Only in the Server Lobby can you leave it off.

5. The name or Steam ID is right

/KickPlayer, /BanPlayer and /UnbanPlayer need the player's name or Steam ID exactly. See How to kick and ban players on your Icarus server.

Anyone can become admin

Every server gets its own random Admin Password, and the panel does not let you save it empty. If players you did not give it to use admin commands, the password has been shared: change it under Settings, Game Settings and restart the server. Anyone who logged in with the old one must log in again with the new one.
