A freshly started Icarus server with nobody connected uses about 1.4 GB of memory. Memory use grows with players and the size of the prospect, so check Usage while your group is playing.
Check your own usage
Open your server's Overview page and look at Usage, then the RAM tab, while players are online. An empty server tells you little, so read it with players on. See How to read your server's usage graphs.
Tips for a healthier server
- Fewer players on the server means less load. Use the Players option on the server overview to lower the limit if you need to (this restarts your server).
Change plan
If memory keeps reaching your plan's limit while players are on, move to a bigger plan. See How to change your plan or billing cycle.
