Open your server's Overview page and look at the Active players card. It shows how many players are on, read from the server the way the Steam server browser reads it.
Read the card
- Open your server in the panel. You land on Overview.
- Find the Active players card.
What the card can say:
- Nobody is online: the server answers and nobody is playing.
- A player count, with names if the server reports them. When it does not, the card says the server does not publish their names.
- No answer from the server: the server is not answering on its query port. That is normal while it is starting or stopped. See The Icarus players card says No answer from the server.
Edit slots on the card changes how many players fit: How to change player slots on your Icarus server.
What the card cannot do
The card has no kick or ban buttons for Icarus. Use the admin commands in the game chat: How to kick and ban players on your Icarus server.
Good to know
- The player count is also used by schedules that wait for an empty server: How to restart your Icarus server on a schedule.
