The quickest way is the Console tab: type status to see each player's id, then kick <id> or ban <id> <minutes>. The Quick Tasks page has Kick Player and Ban Player tasks too, which keep the id you give them.
From the Console
- Open your server in the panel and click the Console tab.
- Type
statusand press Enter. Each player is listed with an id, a number such as3. - To kick, type
kick 3(with the player's id). They can join again straight away. - To ban, type
ban 3 60for 60 minutes, or another number of minutes. DDNet bans the player's address. - To lift a ban, type
bansto list the bans with their number, thenunbanand that number, for exampleunban 0.unbanwith the address works too.

With Quick Tasks
- Open Quick Tasks in the left menu. Under All tasks, run List Players, then read the ids in the Console.
- Find Kick Player (or Ban Player) and click Run. The Configure task window opens, because the task needs a Player id.
- Type the id, exactly one number, and click Save task. This saves the task with that id under Your tasks; it does not run it yet.
- Open Your tasks and click Run on the task.
Ban Player bans the player's address for one day. A restart of the server lifts it. Ids change when players leave and join, so set the id again with Configure next time.

Good to know
- Ids change when players leave and join. Check them with
statusjust before you kick or ban. - A ban is on the player's address, so it also blocks anyone else on the same home connection.
