No. A PlayNHost DayZ server runs the PC version of the DayZ dedicated server, installed from Steam, so players join it with DayZ on PC. Players of DayZ on Xbox or PlayStation cannot join it.
What your server runs
Your server installs the DayZ server from Steam (the stable DayZ server, Steam app 223350, the app Bohemia's own Linux server guide installs) when it is set up, and checks it for updates at every start while Automatic Updates is on. It is the server for DayZ on Steam, which Steam's DayZ page lists for Windows only and without cross-platform multiplayer. There is no setting in the panel that turns it into a console server.
What a PC player needs
- DayZ on PC, on the same version as the server, because Enforce Game Version is on by default. See Players cannot join your DayZ server after a game update.
- On a Sakhal server: the Frostline expansion, which adds the Sakhal map. Chernarus and Livonia come with the base game.
- On a modded server: the same mods as the server. See How to add mods to your DayZ server.
- The Server Name to search for, or the Server Address from the Overview page. See How to join your DayZ server.
