Open the Modding tab and click Mod settings (on Valheim Plus: Settings (Valheim Plus and mods)). Pick the mod's file under Settings file, change the values, click Save changes, and restart the server. Mods read their settings at start.
Before you start
A mod writes its settings file the first time the server starts with it. If the tab says No settings files yet, start the server once with the mod, then come back.
Change a setting
- Open your server in the panel and click the Modding tab, then Mod settings.
- Pick the file under Settings file. Each mod has its own file.
- Type in Find a setting to narrow the list, or scroll through the sections.
- Each setting shows its description from the mod,
Default:and the default value, and its range when it has one, for exampleFrom 1 to 10. On/off settings are switches, and settings with a fixed list of values are a list to pick from. - Change the values. Each changed setting is marked Changed, and Reset to default puts one back.
- The bar at the bottom says how many unsaved changes you have. Click Save changes, or Discard.
The message says how many settings were saved, Mods read their settings at start: restart for them to apply. Restart the server from the side card or the power menu.
If a value is refused
The field explains why: A whole number., A number., The lowest value is, The highest value is, or One line only. Fix the value, then save.
