On a Terraria Vanilla server, open Settings, Game Settings, switch on one or more Special seed settings, give the world a new World Name, and restart. The server creates the special world. The switches only matter when a world is created.
The special seeds
Each one is a switch, off by default. The panel describes them like this:
| Setting | What the world is like |
|---|---|
| Special seed: Skyblock | Start on a small floating island with very little land. |
| Special seed: Zenith (Get Fixed Boi) | Every special seed at once: the hardest world there is. |
| Special seed: Drunk World | Both evils, mixed-up biomes and party music. |
| Special seed: For the Worthy | Much harder enemies and bosses. |
| Special seed: Celebration | The 10th anniversary world: party everywhere. |
| Special seed: The Constant | Don't Starve style darkness and hunger. |
| Special seed: Not the Bees | The world is a jungle full of bees and honey. |
| Special seed: No Traps | The world is packed with traps. |
| Special seed: Remix | The world is turned upside down. |
Since Terraria 1.4.5 special seeds can be combined: turn on several.
Make the world
- Open your server in the panel, click the Settings tab, then Game Settings.
- Switch on the special seeds you want. Each switch saves as soon as you flip it.

- Set World Size and Difficulty too, if you want them different.
- Change World Name to a name that has no world yet, for example
skyblock. Your current world stays on disk and comes back if you set its name back. - Restart the server and wait for the ready line in the Console.
A special seed overrides the World Seed text, so you do not need to type a seed.
Good to know
- Switch the special seeds off again once the world exists, so the next new world you make is a normal one. They do nothing to a world that already exists.
- Special seed switches are on Terraria Vanilla only. TShock and tModLoader do not have them in the panel.
