Players land in the Server Lobby on your Icarus server

This is normal. When the last player leaves, your Icarus server goes back to the Server Lobby, and after a restart it also returns to the lobby if nobody joins. The prospect is kept: resume or load it from the lobby.

Why it happens

The panel sets two of the game's own rules at every start: return to the lobby as soon as the server is empty, and as soon as a started prospect has nobody in it. They cannot be changed. See Icarus server settings: every option explained.

Get back into your prospect

1. Join the server. You are in the Server Lobby.
2. Load your saved prospect in the game's menus, or type one of these in the game chat:

ResumeProspect

LoadProspect YourProspectName

ResumeProspect picks up the last prospect or outpost the server ran. LoadProspect loads one by its name, which is its file name in the Prospects folder without .json.

If your prospect is not there

• It may have been deleted, or the file is not in Icarus/Saved/PlayerData/DedicatedServer/Prospects/. Restore it from a backup: How to back up and restore your Icarus world.
• An uploaded prospect does not appear: Your uploaded Icarus prospect does not load.
