How to turn cheats on or off on your DDNet server

Switch Cheats (test commands) on the Settings tab, under Game Settings, then restart the server. With it on, admins can use DDNet's test commands, and the server shows as TestDDraceNetwork in the browser.

Change it

1. Open your server in the panel, click the Settings tab, then Game Settings.
2. Switch Cheats (test commands) on or off.
3. Restart the server. The change takes effect at the next start.

On or off?

• Off (the default): a normal DDNet server. Times and records count as usual. Choose this for a public server.
• On: admins logged in with the RCON Password can use the test commands, such as super, tele and weapons. The server shows as TestDDraceNetwork in the browser, so players know it is a test server.

Good to know

• Use this setting rather than an sv_test_cmds line in a config file, so the panel always shows what the server really does.
