Is this the old Java version or the new one?
The new one: the current Unity-engine version of the Rising World dedicated server. The older Java version is still offered on Steam as a legacy branch, but it is not what this product runs.
How much RAM does a fresh world need?
We measured a default-generated world at rest and it plateaued around 300 MB with nobody connected. A short spike to roughly 680 MB happens during the initial world generation and is released afterward.
Can I set a server password and game mode?
Yes. Server name, password, default game mode (Survival or Creative) and the world name are all panel fields.
Is RCON available?
No, not from outside tools: the RCON port is not reachable from the internet. Run the server from the panel's live console and settings instead.
