On the Mods page, the Profiles tab keeps mod lists you can come back to. Type a name under Save this list and click Save. Later, click Switch to this on a profile, then Apply and restart. A server keeps up to 20 profiles.
Save the current list
- Open your server in the panel and click the Modding tab, then Profiles.
- Under Save this list, type a Profile name, for example
Hardcore season. - Click Save.
The message says Saved the profile and its name. The profile keeps the mods and versions on the list now.
Switch to a profile
- On Profiles, find the profile. Each row shows how many mods it has and when it was saved.
- Click Switch to this.
- The window lists what changes on your list. Click Switch.
- Click Apply and restart.
Switching changes the mod list only. Your worlds are not touched; a world played with mods can behave oddly without them, so back up first if you switch to a very different list.
Delete a profile
Click the delete button on its row and confirm with Delete. The mods on your server stay as they are. Only the saved list goes.
Good to know
- Importing an r2modman code saves your current list first, as a profile named
Before importand the date: How to import an r2modman profile to your Valheim server. - Profiles are kept on the server, so they are part of your backups.
- Save is greyed out while your list is empty. Saving or switching needs the Create and upload and Edit and rename permissions; deleting needs Delete.
