The Active players card asks your DDNet server who is on, the same way the DDNet server browser does. No answer from the server means the server did not reply. That is normal while it is starting or stopped, and goes away by itself once it runs.
Check it
- Open your server in the panel. Look at the badge at the top.
- Offline or Starting: wait, or click Start. The card fills in once the server runs.
- Online: open the Console and check that the start finished with
server name isand your server's name. Then reload the Overview page.

Still no answer while it runs
- Restart the server once. A server that hangs on a map load does not answer.
- Check the Console's last lines. If DDNet stopped with an error, the server is not really running. See DDNet server problems and fixes.
- Ask players if they can join. If they can, the server is fine and only the card cannot reach it. Tell support, with your server's name.
Who is on, another way
Type status in the Console. DDNet prints every player with their id. See How to see who is online on your DDNet server.
