ARK: Survival AscendedUpdated Oct 29, 20263 min read

Structure decay and building rules for your ARK: Survival Ascended server are in the Structures group of Game User Settings. Stop the server, switch on No structure decay to keep abandoned bases forever, or raise Structure decay time to make them last longer, and click Save & start.

Change the settings

  1. Open your server in the panel and click Stop. Wait for Offline.
  2. Click the Settings tab, then Game User Settings under Config files.
  3. Open the Structures group.

Building rules in Game.ini

Game Rules (Game.ini) has two more building rules in its Rules group:

  • Build into the terrain: structures can be placed partly inside the ground and rocks.
  • Several floors on platform saddles: players can build more than one floor on a platform saddle.
