How to use these lines
- Stop your Terraria server.
- Open
serverconfig.txtin the server folder. If you have none, create the file and start the server with-config serverconfig.txt. - Paste the lines. A setting you leave out keeps the game's behaviour for that setting. Lines that start with
#are comments. - Save and start the server.

Where is serverconfig.txt?
In the folder of your Terraria server. If it does not exist you can create it and start the server with the config option.
How do I create a new world from the config?
Set a world name, a size with the new world size option, and leave the world file empty. The server creates the world on first start.
Good to know
- Setting names follow the Terraria wiki's page on running a server. Settings the wiki shows no default for are left empty here, so only the values you change are written.
- The server port is not in this tool. Your host sets it.
- Back up your world before you change anything.
