How to lift a ban on your The Isle server

Open Who can play on the Active players card, go to the Bans tab and click Lift ban next to the player. The player can join again straight away.

Lift a ban

1. Open your server in the panel. You land on Overview.
2. On the Active players card, click Who can play.
3. Open the Bans tab.

4. Each ban shows the player, and Permanent, until a date and time, or Ended for a ban that is over. Click Lift ban next to the one you want to lift.

The window says The ban is lifted.

Lift a ban by SteamID64

If the player is not in the list, type their SteamID64 in Lift a ban by SteamID64 at the bottom of the tab and click Lift ban.

Good to know

• The list is read from the game's own ban file, so it shows bans made in the game as well as bans made in the panel.
• If the panel cannot read that file, the tab says The game's ban list could not be read, so nothing is shown. It has been left as it is. Restart the server and try again, or ask support.
• A ban that has Ended no longer keeps the player out. You do not need to lift it.
• You need permission to use the console and to read and create files on this server. Owners have all of them.
