Yes. PvP is a panel toggle, so a server can be a pure trading and building island if that is what your group wants. Change it, restart, and it applies.

Tents are how players claim space, and decay removes abandoned ones so the island does not fill up with structures belonging to people who stopped playing. Leave it on for a public server. Turn it off for a private one where everyone knows each other and nobody wants to lose a base to a holiday.

Yes. There is a server password field, plus a message of the day and a community website field so people who do find it know where they have landed.

Longvinter is light. 2GB runs a twelve player island comfortably. The larger tiers are for servers where more players means more tents, more stored items and a longer running world.
