Voyagers of Nera dedicated servers are found in the in-game server list. The server name and password come from the host settings file on the server.
Find your details
Open your server at https://panel.playnhost.com. The overview shows the IP and the assigned ports. Voyagers of Nera uses a server port and a separate query port, which the browser reads.
Join the server
- Launch Voyagers of Nera.
- Open the multiplayer or server list.
- Clear the filters, particularly the one hiding password protected servers.
- Search for your server name as set in
CustomHostUserSettings.ini. - Join, entering the password if one is set.
What to give your crew
The exact server name and the password. If your client offers a direct connect field, the IP and server port from the overview work too and are quicker than searching.
The first start takes a while
A new server generates its world before it is listed. Watch the panel console rather than the server list.
If you cannot connect
- Check the panel console for the server reporting it is ready.
- Confirm the server name matches what you are searching for, including capitalisation.
- Confirm the ports in the config match the values on the server overview.
- A version mismatch after a game update hides the server from updated clients. Restart the server so it pulls the new build.
