A Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community server is joined by address. The console command works every time and does not depend on any list.
1. Find your server address
- Log in to the Client Area at https://playnhost.com/billing and open your service.
- Note the IP / Hostname and Port. Source servers normally use 27015, and your service may use another port.
2. Turn on the developer console
- In the game, open Settings, then Game.
- Set Enable Developer Console to Yes.
- Press ~ to open it.
3. Connect
- Type
connect 123.45.67.89:27015with your own address and press Enter. - If the server has a password, run
password yourpasswordfirst, then connect.
4. Steam favourites
- Open the Steam client, click View, then Game Servers.
- On the Favorites tab click Add a Server and enter
IP:Port. - Select the server and click Connect.
5. What to give your players
- The
connect IP:Portline, ready to paste into the console. - The password, if you set one.
- The server name for the community browser.
If the connection is refused, check the server is running in the panel, that sv_lan is 0 and that a game server token is configured. See the troubleshooting guide in this category.
